My progress and fun

Just installed straight pipe on my 250. Turbo noise is not obnoxious or loud as i thought it would be for 2003 6.0. Sounds like a Big block a little when I romped on it. Seems to whistle the most cruising around 30-50 mph. Little bit of cab drone while accelerating,I can actually feel the drone on the skinny pedal, weird huh? This is the first "fun" purchase I have had with truck. Went via the tech folder past year and got the essentials. New batteries and 140 amp alt. Rebuilt FICM by Shannon @ Ficmfixer.New Thermostat and degas cap. New belt. Coolant flush and switched to ELC. New Ford oil cooler with sinister Egr delete and coolant filter. Motorcraft Filters and OEM oil cap.

Big thanks to all you brainiacs in here allowing mooches like me to read a keep my 6.0 healthy.

Congrats! You've just discovered one of the reasons we tolerate these temperamental engines.
