I could really use a hand identifying the application, year, and part # for this bumper that I found the other day. Brand new in the Ford box, chrome in perfect condition. But I'm having a heck of a time finding the exact match for a part number and value. Any help is much appreciated.

You can see that there are application holes in the middle in order to apply either a rub strip or potentially something that color matches the vehicle.

I had a 1991 F150 That had a rear bumper like that. Had a plastic trim piece that was in the indentation and step pads on the top it match the pads in front of the license plate area.
1987-1991
Those seem to be aftermarket and do not have the trim piece in the middle or the space for it like mine. But basically a chrome one for that year aftermarket is $300 bucks. Then my pristine genuine Ford one should be worth more than that.
Yours might appeal to a purist that's restoring a truck (although I can't say I have come across too many people restoring 87-91 p-ups right now). The demand for a stock bumper is most likely on craigslist by people looking to bolt a cheaper used take off in the $50-$100 range to replace their rusted junk. None the less, good luck.
