That option is primarily used for vehicles equipped with PTO. It allows you to specify an idle rpm other than what the PCm would normally request. For example, if the normal idle speed was 1000 rpm but you were using a PTO winch and needed more rpm you could raise the idle to 1500 using the aux. idle controller.
Oh! Thanks! So if I'm not going to be running PTOs, which I won't (the only other things I'm not ordering are exterior cab lights, moon roof ) I don't need it.
My experience with PTO's on dump trucks and stuff, you're gunna need a lot more than idle anyways if your using something big (dump body hydrolics) and you more or less regulate the speed with the throttle, so I don't know how helpful a throttle hold would be.
