This is on a 2006 crew cab, this started about 2 weeks ago with the front passenger door, sometimes it would unlock sometimes not. if it didn't open on the first try it wouldn't ever unlock no matter how many times I tried, it would bump up but not all the way.
now yesterday my back passenger stopped working completely, even if you pull the inside door handle it wont open (I checked child lock its ok), it will unlock if you pull up on the tab and then the door will open.
now today my front driver won't always unlock or lock. I was thinking actuator but kind of surprised if all three failed so close together. Thanks!
If you do a search on the forum you will see that the door lock actuators are a common failure. There is a link on how to repair them but honestly I just bought a new door lock actuator from 1A Auto parts for $28.50 and it worked just fine. Lots of You-tube videos to follow on the removal and install. It works great and I think the time spent time to try and "rebuild" the factory ones was better spent on these replacements.
