choose carburetor

Greetings, I would like to advise me on my engine carburetor. is a Y block 292 C2AE with heads ECZ-G, headings, 4-1 and electronic ignition, now I have a 2100 Autolite 1.23.

What are the cam specs and do you want to stay with a 2 barrel?

Thanks for the reply, the cams are the standard configuration, if I want to keep both barrels

The 2100 1.23 is larger than a 292 used. It can probably work if you have parts available to tune it. Since you have it, try it. The Autolite carbs are good, in general.

I can hardly make it work well, is giving me trouble adjusting it, once started going about normal but hit the brakes to stop off. you need to change to make it work on my engine?

If it is set up for it's original application, I'm not surprised that it doesn't work well. You'll need to tune it for the 292.

Alternatively, you can try to find a smaller Autolite. Or get a Holley which will have much better support, as far as tuning goes.

and you would have to do to adapt that I have? that Autolite and holley recommend me ?.

Anything that is not stock may require tuning or other modification in order to make it work correctly.
