The running boards, and presumably step bars, from a 2005 Supercab will fit perfectly on a 2014 Supercab.
Back in August of last year, the new F150 HD my local Richmond area dealer found up in PA for me didn't have any running boards or step bars. And I was going to need running boards. It helps me, and absolutely needed by my wife.
My salesman said the ones on my trade in, 2005 F150 Supercab, would fit.
Sure enough they did. He had them switched out, and the running boards fit perfectly on the new truck.
Do they stick out further than the OE chrome bars? The step boards on my F150 just don't have enough toe room and are tucked in too close to body. My 2000 Superduty had much better running boards (better looking too).
Don't know if they stick out further than the chrome bars. However, I seem to have plenty of room to step on the running boards I have on the truck. Of course I wear a size nine shoe.
