Pickup cab to Bronco frame

Has anyone done this swap? I'm replacing the body on my Bronco and am wondering how difficult it is to make a 70's or 80's pickup cab fit the 80's Bronco frame.

Thanks!

If you could do this, what would you do for the rear of the vehicle? I'm curious.

This one's being built for extreme rock crawling, so it'll end up with a flat bed on it to carry a cooler, tools, and spares. The front fenders are going away, too.

i would think the front would at least match up. not sure about the rear body mounts for the truck cab. but those would be easy to add i would think

It should fit fine. I've seen a Ranger done that way, but not a fullsize. They cut the bed down to fit onto a B-II frame.

I've got an '81 F-250 cab on the way, guess I'll see how it goes.

The rear cab mounts are different, they attach inside the frame rails instead of outside. Looks like it should be a simple crossmember install.

Thanks for the replies!
