F25 = F 250 2WD
D = 352 V8 2 BBL
R = San Jose Assembly Plant
688924 = May '65

129 = 129 inch wheel base
FM = Light Blue, White Secondary color
F250 = Model F-250 2WD
A = Light Grey Crush Vinyl and Gray Quill Stripe Woven Plastic Deviation Trim Code
B = OR, it is Medium Blue Crush Vinyl and Medium Blue Ladder Pattern Woven Plastic Trim Code
81 = Conventional Custom Cab
N = New Process 435 4 speed
B4 = Spicer 60 Rear Axle, Locking, 4.10 ratio, 5,200 LB CAP

7500 = MAX Vehicle Capacity
172 4000 = 172 HP@4000 RPM
72 = San Jose DSO

The "A" in the second line is confusing me, because it is in the Trim Code Position - but also so is the "B" for B81.
The '66 Warranty Plate decoding information I have has this "Note: Deviation Trim, when installed, will be identified by an additional character preceding the Trim Code."
So is the "A" code a type of deviation Trim? If so, then "A" = Light Grey Crush Vinyl and Gray Quill Stripe Woven Plastic
Unless the "B81" refers to the Conventional "F" type Cab
In which case the "B" may refer to the Medium Blue Crush Vinyl and Medium Blue Ladder Pattern Woven Plastic Trim Code

Number Dummy's help is sorely needed here!

That might be it.
I was separating the two out in my mind as distinctly separate codes.

Bill did you post this and delete it?
There is *no* AB81 BODY code for the OP's truck, as this code only applies to F800/1000 & N/NT500/1000.

I deleted it because it referred to 1966 only, then I noticed that Fritz wanted info on a 1965.
