The timing cover is aluminum and I don't believe anyone is reproducing it. Edelbrock makes an aluminum water pump for the FE engines. Just picked one up for my 428.

I have a Edelbrock aluminum water pump. I like it. My alternator, p.s. pump & a/c brackets fit it well. You have to be careful, some of the China cast pumps don't fit accessory brackets well.

At the time I found the best price at Jegs. I bought it back in the summer last year. Just shop around online.

I'm running Stan's Tri-y headers. I like them they fit well and are well made. I did have to clearance the frame slightly on the passenger side. My other choice would be Sanderson Headers. These are both shorter in design and do well on a truck. HiHoSilver has a great right up on installing his Sandersons in the 1967-1972 forum. You can run a stock starter with either of those two sets of headers. These are not the cheapest choice but I feel they are well made.
