It had a 7.3 in it before. When I changed the motor they made me get a salvaged title. So I will ask them to straiten it if they will but your right they don't like them straitened because of the pressure the metal is under. Not weight but Temper. When I tried to have the rear hangers and shackles replaced they wouldn't weld on it because of it exploding or something to do with it not liking to be messed with. I honestly am too ignorant to explain it but know why they don't straiten them. Some one experienced in that would say it better than myself. But since the title is the way it is insurance doesn't come into play. I'm paying and have paid for all of this myself. So hopfully because I'm paying for it the shop will fix it.

Now if a engine change warrants a salvage, there are a lot of salvage cars out there. Interesting they would require yours salvage title...
Seeing frames here in kc lately for 500. Hope the best for ya and good luck with the repair.
