New from TX
Been reading this site for a while and finally had a question of my own.
Just picked up my 94 F150 XL 302 V8. Funny thing is, I bought this truck new in 94, sold it to my uncle in 2001, and just bought it back from him. Of course it needs some TLC, so I'm sure my first question will not be the last one I ask on this site.
Some details on the truck:
- 1994 Ford F150 XL
- 5.0 302 V8
- 4x2
- Manual 5-speed
- Unsure of the rear end but I know it's not limited slip
- 8ft bed
- Dual fuel tanks
- No extras (no power windows/locks, no cruise, no tilt) Just a base truck with a sweet motor.
Work already done:
- New tires
- New air and fuel filter
- New front brakes
- Installed battery cutoff switch
Work left:
- Replace lower intake gaskets, valve cover gaskets, plugs, belt, water pump, and thermostat
- Replace rear brake pads
- Fix rear differential leak (not sure where it's at)
- Find parasitic power draw
