Broke Spark Plug
The plugs must have never been changed (165,000mi), virtually nothing left of the electrodes, but it still ran great!
I read here where someone used PB Blaster... awesome stuff.
Here's how I got the plug out.
1. Unbolted and pulled the accelerator pedal out of the way.
2. Drilled 4 holes, and used a reciprocating saw to cut an access hole by the accelerator about the size of a paperback novel.
3. Began to chisel (lightly) and got the porceline part out by lightly chipping, and vacuuming, it finally sucked it out whole. Luckly the tip of plug kept it from dropping into the cylinder.
4. Soaked the rest of the plug with liquid wrench and then began using an extractor that fit in the plug hole, and worked and worked and worked on it for a couple of hours, and was being very forceful... then I gave it a break.
5. Got mad... Bought PB Blaster... sprayed a little on, gave it a tap and an hour of time, then it just came loose with a hard twist. WOW!!!
Hope this helps someone else. I thought I'd have to junk the van.
