Oil Cooler Bulletproof.?

Oil Cooler Bulletproof.?
So, I had some work done to my truck recently (06 6.0 F-250), and was recommened do get an oil cooler bulletproof kit. Any advice on this.? One of the few diesel guys I know says its not really necessary. So I wondering if it's worth it. Are there any perks for having it done.? I'll take any advice and thanks in advance.!

I am brand new to diesels myself but I have heard it's good to do if you're planning on doing any towing or heavier use stuff in the future. In the past I very rarely added anything to my vehicles but with my new 15 F-350 Diesel Dually I plan on doing plenty of extras. I know I will be adding coolers and cold start accessories, etc.. I think as long as things are installed properly and are actually made for your vehicle, they will at least add to the value if nothing else. Good luck.
