The thread stating you need to replace or cut off the bolts is ridiculous. Jack up the gas tank obviously on drivers side w a 2x4 high enough to clear the head of bolt.

How do you jack up the fuel tank when it's being held in position with rigid metal straps? Jack on it until those straps (legs) buckle? Sounds like a fantastic idea.

...and the fuel line gets crush, and the vent hose breaks, and the plastic fittings snap, and the wires get pinched, and the fuel pick-up gets bent up...

The only jerkoffs I see are the two that obviously cut uneeded bolts and get on a thread to complain . U obviously never applied a half inch of lift to a gas tank cause damn it would damage a 1000$ expedition. Lol
