This bell housing came with my truck when I bought it. It's painted the same color as the engine so I'm assuming it was used on this truck at some point. Can someone tell me what it's worth please. I don't know how hard they are to find.

That looks like a 1953 pickup three speed column shift bell housing. The application is that specific. Not much demand for that, but it is probably hard to find if you are looking for one...

 

Google search shows it as a 53 Flathead V8 Three Speed Truck Bellhousing.

Yes, usually about once a year someone needs one. But as I recall the guy most recently looking also needed the crossmember, so he may have given up.
