mild 302 build expectations

So here's the plan as of now. I have a 90 f150 302 4x4 5spd. I'm starting off with an ATK 302 short block and putting FR m-6049-x307 heads on it paired up with a comp 35-512-8 cam and full roller set up with the mustang firing order. The ignition system will be the MSD drop in TFI distributor with MSD coil and taylor wires. I also plan on using full length hooker headers and retaining the O2 sensor. The motor will also have smog pump and egr delete. The exhaust will be the longtubes as mentioned above with a true dual 2.5" system with no cats or mufflers. I plan on using the stock intake manifold and injectors but plan to add the K&N intake systems to finish it off. This is a SD EFI system anyone see any problem running this with SD and stock computer? I have heard the cam mentioned above will work with SD. Please correct me if I am wrong. Anyone have any further suggestions?
Thanks,
Capt. J

I can't make any recommendations on your engine build but wanted to point you to some great information on the air intake system. Take a read through this article to see what they found.

that cam will work with SD.

the MSD drop in will be fine, although its not better than a regular old motorcraft. there wont be any power gain and probably a loss in reliability. whatever distributor you get, make sure it has a STEEL drive gear to match that roller camshaft.

you will lose tq with your 2.5" duals. 2.5" collectors and tubing into a 3" y pipe is best for performance.
