Possible chipped computer?!?!?!?
So I have been having this issue where once in a blue moon When I start my truck the check engine light will come on.. Well the other day while driving it stayed on longer than usual, so I decided to have it read. Took it to all three of the parts houses around me and nobody could get the code to pull.. Well i started the truck and had the guy read it and as soon as he plugged the reader in while the truck was running it started to run real rough and my WTS light started to flash at me.. Not sure why this happened... Any possibility that the truck has a chip on it and im just terribly blind to it...Ran fine the moment we unhooked the reader.. Truck is a 1995 F350 2wd 5sp manual.Any help would be appreciated!

Our trucks are not standard OBD-II, none of the devices at the FLAPS will communicate with them. Options depend on what format you prefer:
* Round gauge (pod fit) - Aeroforce Interceptor
* Old-school hand-held scanner - Snap-On MT2500 or newer counterparts, with the right keys/cables
* Laptop/WinTablet - AutoEnginuity Software with "Ford Enhanced" enabled
* Android device - ELM OBD bluetooth adapter and Torque Pro / CarGauge Pro apps
To check for a chip, remove the bolts for the parking brake pedal/release assembly and move it away from the side wall of the cab. You'll see the aft end of the PCM, and if there's a chip installed on it, you'll see it there.
