I did a 5" flopro from the downpipe back and got that tuner. The 5" sounds great....that's all I've done for now, I'll do the EGR delete later this year.
Yeah to keep the factory dual tips/pipe I do believe you'd have to get the DPF pipe....which is basically from the down pipe back to just behind the back door.
So is there anything out there right now for a 2015 f350 to delete it? I'm hearing the sct x4 is the only thing out there? But is just a programmer right? It does not do a dpf delete? I used to have a duramax, and I had the mini maxx and afe turbo back exhaust! It ran awesome! Now I want to delete my ford... Thanks
It mentions a $96 million dollar fine in the article for H&S.
Ugh! What a country we've become. The article is 3 years old now. I'm told recently that H&S is in Canada and still selling delete tuners. I can't remember where I read it but most likely on here. What I wonder is how many tuners they were selling. I paid around 1200 for mine. i know they are more now but how many would you have to sell to pay a 96,000,000 dollar fine. Soooo, I'm thinking somebody is blowing smoke up my dress on this one.
God threads like this just **** me off. You CAN get a Minimax that will Absolutely work on the 2015s no problem at all. It just people loading custom tunes, and the company is still around just not public. They didn't get fined 96M either, just the 1M by the carb in California. There are so many options for tuning on the 2015s and up it's just really up to you guys to do the research.

Yeah, I figured so. I tuned my 08, which really needed it. It made that truck so much better. Even though I blew a HG with it. The 14 I have now is much better technology so I haven't tried to tune it. However, when I first got it I still had the H&S from my wrecked truck. It was supposed to work on the 11 to 13 MY but would not work on my 14. So. I'm thinking that is what strted a lot of the rumors about the 14s and up not being tuneable. I think whatever one computer engineer can design another engineer can tune.

Life's too short to go around being p!ssed off... Skip threads like this one and enjoy life a little more...
I, for one, am interested in tuning "someday", but had no idea about the MiniMax. Afterall - if they aren't "public", the information you just presented must not be very commonly known..
It's been a couple years but I remember two conversations on this board (I think). One was that the speed shops were buying "street" versions of the H&S and "unlocking" ( I think that's the right term) them amd reselling to the consumers. I'm talking 2014 6.7s now. As I said above the H&S that worked on the 2008 to 2013 both 6.4L and 6.7L would not work on the 2014.
The other story I heard was thet H&S had moved to Canada and were still selling delete tuners. But I don't remember how I was told to make contact.
If you really want to know search my history, it should be there somewhere or get on google and look around the country for truck performance or speed shops. If the're making them somebody knows how to get one.
And lastly I'm still wondering how many tuners they would have sold to pay the 1 million dollar fine. I just don't think there are enough diesel pick up trucks in the country to make them an "extra" million. More likely they settled with EPA for a pittance and a promise to stop making race tuners or something like that.

They used to be very public until they got hit with the 1M fine and mandatory buyback of tuners in the state of California. The tuners they produced though are still out there with the "older" tunes on them. People buy those, edit the tunes to work with the 2015 trucks and sell them. The $1M crippled the company and there are really only a couple of people left working the "chips and tuners" department. There is a split off company called H&S Motorsports that work on mechanical upgrades for the trucks.
To sum it up, there are a lot of H&S tuners out there, but the last ones were made in 2013 sometime.
Yep... There are tuners out there that can delete any of the trucks out there. For awhile Dodge's were not tunable or deletable, but even that issue has been resolved.
Just because they come down with a $96M fine doesn't mean the company can pay it either. One of the reasons you form a corporation and then layer corporations within the corporation.
Anyways, the thread has been derailed... Yes you can do it, no it isn't legal in the United States. If you play you may have to pay.
Yes. it really wakes the truck up, makes it a blast to drive, no worries about some mechanical issues because the DPF/SCR/EGR is gone, just gotta worry about warranty, epa, state, local PD potentially catching up with you which is probably right now slim. If you are in an inspection state, you get to put it all back on to pass....
I choose to keep my processing plant intact... Mainly as states, this truck is quite different from my 6.0 and other trucks so I don't see the need to attract any unwanted attention to myself and I like my warranty. I can't wrench on things anyways.
I won't berate you if you do yours though either. That is your choice and consequences.
