I do a lot of driving under 15 miles during the day but still justify the diesel for towing. Long story short is there a tuner out there from a reputable company that will let me get rid of the dpf and urea injection for the 2015 gen 2? Preferably I would like to just delete the filter and not have to do a whole exhaust system replacement.

I am a 2015 owner and I deleted my truck after 1000 miles. SCT X4 is the way to go. You can even install custom tunes. I have been and H&S user since 2009. Really hated not having the option of using my H&S off of 2013 on my 2015 and having to leave the brand. BUT with that being said WOW the SCT has impressed me. Just to let you know that even if you chose the SCT Live Wire you still can not switch tunes on the fly. One more thing don't expect your 2015 to sounds like a 2011-2014. Totally different. While idling it is close, while taking off or at highway speed its more like the 6.0 (whistling)
Just my 2 cents.....

I have to agree with Blapensee when I search H & S website all I find is software updates, no actual equipment or hardware. somewhat disappointing given all the good things I've heard about the. I also was really interested in a spartan tuner but it looks like they do not offer a tune kit for the 15. For those of you that have done the EGR delete, how long did it take to remove the unint and block the ports. I looked at the sinister kit and it would seem someone who has done one a couple times could probably knock it out in a couple hours. I know from what some have said it will take 6-8 hrs. That seems pretty long. Also, once the EGR wiring is removed and zip tied up to the PCM harness is there any risk of corrosion in the open end causing problems in the future?

There are some that use H&S and some that use SCT. I have a MiniMaxx sitting in the box for my '11 once the ext warranty runs out.

Interested for those that have used both H&S and SCT (or others) if the H&S is the best route to go. I can sell the new H&S (with delete tunes) and buy one of the others but if the H&S is still the best (or equal) then I'll just keep it. I'd like a larger screen but beyond that I'm not looking for huge power.

H&S seemed to be on the rise, but they got sued out of buisness in california.

One final question I aldo have is, do these programmers allow me to run my truck completely stock and just eliminate the emission controls. At nearly 400 hp I really don't need more horse or torque or at least least don't want to tear something up. For those of you running an H & S, Ive heard really good things about this company but have only seen equipment for 2014. Do you think other companies are working on a tuner for the 15's or are they finally caving to the EPA?
Nearly 400 hp on a 2015? What did you do with the other 40 HP? Is this a Chassis-cab / 450 truck?

Either way, I agree that the stock HP is enough to get the job done for 99% of us out there..

Sorry Blapensee, I was a little premature...Here is the latest.

"Sorry guys, H&S for 2015 Power Stroke will NOT be happening any time soon, if ever. There are a few test devices out in the public from when the 2015 was very first released, but that is it.

We have no plans of developing the 2015 software any further until our situation with the EPA is done with. Even at that point, we cannot promise that any further product development will even happen.

I can say that during product development, I was very impressed with the 2015 and the power output it was capable of. A 2015 Power Stroke will be neck and neck with the 6.4L Power Stroke 1/4 mile times if the ECM and TCM are tuned correctly".

slipping or hitting? your trans, depending on the power level of the engine tune should be shifting firm.

i honestly was hoping when you first said it that i myself was wrong lol H&S had a good thing going unfortunately, themselves and a lot of the users of the devices posted a little too many "rollin coal" videos on youtube for the EPA not to try and shut it down..

thats how i would describe the sensation. it will be better as your drive and your trans gets warmed up. i run on the "tow" tune only a 40hp increase over stock but my trans shifts firmer when its cold

Transmission might be relearning, whenever you flash your truck/load a tune the trans will be reset.

To the OP, this is what you want. The SCT X4 and a pipe that replaces the rocketship. This is what I'll be doing as soon as I have the cash.

I don't see how H&S could possibly get back up and going again. They got fined $1 million by CARB and $94 million by the EPA. I'm sure that will get negotiated down in court, but I imagine it will still leave them insolvent.
