fuel pump relay
my ranger stalled out and would not start again. I sprayed ether into the engine and it started rigth up. The fuel pumps both run when I jumped power to them. The fuel guage works but there seems to be no power to the pump in the tank. Haynes says to check the fuel pump relay but I don't know which relay it is. There are five relays along the right side in the engine compartment. How do I find out which relay it is and how do I check if it is ok?
The truck is a 1987 Ranger with a 2.9 v-6 , 4x4, manuel 5 speed. Anyone have a solution? Thankx
