so do any of you guys know if you can still buy the burgondy that came on these truck as well as the tan they paired with it i am looking to paint my truck(1973f100) possibly the 87-91 burgondy, but i don't know the code or names of the paint? any and all help in the mater would be perfect, i can post a pic of the color if need be.

Looks like Scarlet Red and Medium Silver. Ill look for the paint codes.

Pretty sure "Scarlet Red" is the 2D paint code.
Not sure about the silver.

thanks, my 73 is blue currently but it think i may go to one of theese, my grandad's 91 is painted like the top one, but he couldn't remember the names.

 

Those are two different reds, and one middle stripe is grey while the other is tan.
Which do you want?
Top truck is Scarlet Red and Medium Silver,
Bottom truck is (i believe) Cabernet Red and Light Chestnut.

 

id say the second one cabernet red and light chestnut
but they may actually be the same same color red wise but different light.

 

They are not the same color, I dont think.

In this last pic, if you can see it, the tan on the bed is "pink"er as the bed is off of a 97 and my truck was a 98. The red was the same color so I just painted the tan on the bed.
