I have read thru several threads on this subject, but did not see this addressed. IF the TPMS is built into the computer system then it only needs to be turned on to work with a set of 4 TPMS monitors. While its not 6, only 4. But my mind half a loaf is better than none. I find the inside rear as the most difficult to check psi and to me the benefit of having/knowing front/inside rear TP would be of great value to me.

Thanks SD. My thinking is if I can turn the system on and then pick up 4 FORD OEM sensors life would be a lot better. At my age and condition, just getting down to check AP is hard enough let alone trying to do the inside rear wheel...even if I only knew that it would be of benefit IMO...

Don, I've wondered why they don't offer it at least as an option for dually owners when ordering a truck. I mean after all of the research they claim to have done on building these trucks, surely someone mentioned to them that this would be nice to have considering the loads we haul/carry!

From my understandings on TPMS in the dually is the fact it is not a requirement by the fed gov't.
My understanding as well.
Personally, I would rather use my aftermarket monitor.
Since I tow and set my pressures based on what I am towing I don't want to be bothered by a dash monitor letting me know what I should or should not have.
I don't know what the parameters are for the factory monitor, but for the winter I lower the DRW pressures 5 psi for ride improvement. The dealers will no re-program the tire monitor for what you want it to alert to (from what i have on this forum).
