another new forum member1960 f 100 question

I have recently purchased a 1960 F 100 short bed.I have ordered a 3 inch drop axle from SIDS should be here today and getting ready to order the C notch kit from classic performance products. The question I have is after the frame has been notched, the axle flipped, how much clearance will I have between the top of the differential housing and the bottom of the truck bed ?

Hard to say but wouldn't the answer be the existing distance minus the thickness of the spring pack? Do I win the prize?

Have any pics of the truck?
