2000 V10 Head Replacement

Well. I have the dreaded blown plug. The hole is 1 inch big. Tossing around the idea of either replace motor or just the heads. 185,000 miles. Thoughts ? Suggestions? Ideas? All welcomed.

A one-inch hole?

Plug ejection isn't uncommon, but I've never heard of a 1" hole being ripped in the head. Can you post some pics? These are normally repairable.

The pocket in the head is around 1" in diameter and several inches deep. At the base of that is where the spark plug screws into the head. The Timesert kit is the best for a repair and they do make several sizes.

Took a few days to get back. Dkf was correct. I did not look far enough. The hole actually looks like there are threads! Going to get new plugs and see if one will tighten in there. Next question. Calvan inserts. Or Time serts? I've seen positive info on both.
