Alright i have a 97 f250 7.3 turbo diesel, as i was driving the other day the truck shut off as i came to a stop light and would not start back up. The truck seems to bot be getting fuel but the pump works and the filter is full. There is no smoke coming out as i crank, any suggestions?

Check fuse 22 under the hood. Are you getting a wait to start light?

Edit: By the way, welcome to FTE!

Welcome to FTE! X2 on the CPS. That's where I would go next after checking fuse 22 like Thomas suggested.

Fuel bowl heater maybe have shorted out and blew the fuse. Its the same one the powers the pcm. If the fuse is blown unplug the fuel heater and put a new fuse in.

You need to unplug the fuel bowl heater. I'm spacing out on which plug it is exactly, but I think its the middle one on the driver's side of the bowl.
