Frame Differences
Just bought an 03 excursion with the 6.0 with 200k on it can get ahold of salvage trucks in any year range. Really like the new style trucks but are the frames the same. I really dont want to cut the body/frame because the x has never been in an accident and the body and frame are perfect was a texas truck. I would have a complete running truck with all the parts there looking mostly at ones that were rear ended. What im wanting to do is swap the entire driveline and dashboard into the x when the 6.0 finally gives up. If there are major frame differences i will probably just get a 05-07 superduty and swap all that stuff in and rebuild the 6.0. Also the x is 2wd and i would swap the 4wd in which is the main reason for getting a donor truck also for the upgraded suspension.
