Ive owned this truck 3 years come may already put 20k on her.
Alot since this is my hunting and travel truck.
Anyways since day one of my ownership there has been no parking brake light, or low fuel light. I really dont need them just want to know if I have bulbs burnt out somewhere.
No low fuel light on these trucks. The light that comes on for the park brake is in the wait to start area, and should come on if you have low vacume, low fluid in the master brake cyilnder or some other brake failure/problem, along when the park brake is applied. Maybe the wire has come off of the switch on the park brake. It is a simple one wire that grounds when the peddle is depressed.
On the top of the park brake pedal assembly there is a small wire that connects to it. Apply the park brake and give the wire a good solid wiggle around while watching the gauge cluster right below your tach. If you see he light blink it is that switch that's your problem
