Heat issues

Hey guys so as we know it's cold as can be right now, well my truck recently stopped blowing anything (heat,AC) from vents. Won't work on high medium or low but I did notice when I'm driving I can feel air coming through vents, if the heat is on its warm air. It seems the faster I go the harder the air blows then when Im not moving nothing comes out again. Any ideas on what this could be?

Do you have juice to the blower motor? If you do, I would say the blower motor has given up the ghost..

I'm not sure. How would I check? The other day I went on a long drive and it actually worked for a little so I could control it turned the truck off and it went away

If you have a test light, Key in the run position, engine not running, blower and heat controls in the high position, unplug the wire from the blower motor located in the engine compartment on the passenger side firewall. With the test light wire on a good gound, touch the test light point to the wire you unpluged. If you get a light, you are getting juice to the motor. If no light, your problem is farther upstream, possibly the switch itself, although I have not seen one fail.

I do not have a test light. I suppose I could maybe borrow one from orielly or somewhere? Am I unplugging the actuator wire?

so at idle there is no forced air coming out of the vents, floors, or defroster, right?

Correct at idle it doesn't blow at all nothing from any vent, I hit the motor a couple times and it kicked on I tried that again a couple days ago and nothing happened at all. I'm almost certain it's the motor just want other inputs. I also understand it could be the actuator but from my understanding if it's the actuator it'll only work on high

If the resistor is bad, the motor will only run in high speed, reguardless of where the speed selector is set. Sounds to me the motor is toast.
