i just buttoned up all my efuel stuff and i keep blowing fuse #8 in the cab fuse box. no odometer abs is blinking etc.. i checked for if i drilled through a wire or something that would cause a dead ground and i didnt...wiring all looks good and ive blown 3 25's 2 30's just hoping if i kept shoving them in it would change. i unhooked the batterys and put it in but when i hooked the batterys up it blew iinstantly. i dont know what to do
i disconected my pump wires, and my fuel bowl harness, still blew immediately. i dont get how i disconnected everything i touched and now it blowing. HELP !
Did you mount (drill) anything on the firewall? Fuse 8 powers most interior lamps and the instrument cluster. I once drilled a hole in the firewall to mount something and drilled through a wire bundle ...
turns out i drilled through the wiring harness that runs under the carpet near the drivers side seatbelt... fixed that and fuse 8 is now good....buuuuuut now my abs is blinking and i cant shift out of park. i pulled #18 and i can shift and my abs stops but i loose odometer and whatever else goes with number 18 so any ideas with that?
blown, replaced, all good with the flashers and shifting...now off to the shop to fix the no start when hot issue. ive done everything i think im capable of, ipr, icp, pigtails, fuel bowl harness, my inj. o rings were replaced 2 months ago, and i swapped out the idm with no difference. the guy i go to said it sounds like an internal oil leak so ill let him do it im tired and irritated and my garage is discombobulated.
