My 2010 F150 super crew cab is rusting from the inside out on both cab corners. I purchased my truck about 3 years ago with 75,000 miles on it. After about 3 months I noticed the 3rd brake light was leaking. I went to the dealer but they wouldn't warranty it due to the milage. They did acknowledge that there was a problem with the 3rd brake lamp leaking and was willing to sell me new parts. So I repaired that ASAP. I don't how long is was leaking prior to that. Fast forward a couple years later the corners are starting to bubble. I am assuming this what caused the cab corners to rust. I'm very curious if any of you have seen this and did Ford offered any help?
I've seen that happen on pre 2004 models. My dad actually drilled drain holes in the corners of his 2001 cab & sprays rust inhibitor a couple times per year. It's working for him no rust so far. We live in an area where rust kills cars before their time.

The "corrosion" warranty is 5 Year / Unlimited Miles.
Excerpted from the 2010 F-150 warranty guide .....
(3) Your vehicle’s body sheet metal panels are covered for an extended Corrosion Coverage Period, which lasts for five years, regardless of miles driven. The extended warranty coverage only applies if a body sheet metal panel becomes perforated due to corrosion during normal use due to a manufacturing defect in factory-supplied materials or factory workmanship. For damage caused by airborne material (environmental fallout) where there is no factory-related defect involved and therefore no warranty − our policy is to provide free repair of paint damage due to the airborne material for 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever occurs first.
*The defect being the leaky CHMSL.

Did you ever speak to Ford about repairing the rust? My 2010 is doing the exact same thing and I found a similar thread where they found the drain lines in the rear of the cab were installed incorrectly at the factory which caused water to pool in the back corner of the cab. Ford has denied my warranty claim on my truck and I am researching how widespread this problem is.
Same thing, I purchased my 2010 f150 new of the lot that December. Now my truck is 4 months past the 5 year corrosion warranty. It was starting to rust at the cabin corners over a year ago and I should have taken it to ford then. Now there is a hole through it due to rusting from the inside out and I'm 4 months past warranty. Very disappointed, I have owned several ford trucks and my 17 year old ranger has less rust. Debating if I'm going to bother fixing it, or just let it rust out so my chevy neighbors can make fun of me. Left a message at the dealership where I bought it new, the warranty manager never returned my call. Thinking it's time to change brands.
