Hi all,
Have a 2015 f350 6.2 on order.I know it is going to have cali emissions beacause i live in NJ and they adopted it.At my job our service truck is a 6.4 DIESEL and it shuts off after 15 min. This really ERks me especially on a road call and the dam thing shuts off on the side of the road.Does anyone know if they are doing this to gas trucks?Cant seem to find anything on it
Believe it's a California emissions diesel thing and may only apply to F450s and up. If the parking brake is on, it shuts down in 5 mins. If not on, it shuts down in 15.
There are scenarios where it doesn't shut down i.e. PTO in use etc.

Yep that must be it then the truck at work is a f450 GVW is higher + a diesel also.
Something to try is put it in neutral and chock the wheels . We have a few Mack trucks at work and we leave the brake off and chock the wheels . They came from Mack to shut down after 7 minutes but only when the air brake is on
