I have a rebuilt holly 2b carb on my 302 that isn't more than 2 months old for the past week the acceleration has been crapy when I give it gas. I put the carb on myself the gaskets are good and the fuel filter was changed the other day. i don't know if there really is such a thing as "bad gas" ? i use the 91 all the time but since i filled it up its been really bad. im waiting for the tank to run out of gas and see if its the problem can gas cause this or should i take it back to the store i got it from its still under warranty with them for another month or so and it has a manufacture warranty for about a year i think.
i think its time for a new intake and carb. Whats your timming set at, what do your plugs look like? does it feel like its loading up when you first start moving then clears once the rpms pickup?
I will be getting aluminum intake and a 4b carb in the next month or so
I just spent 175 on this one so i want it to last tell then
I hear good things about road demon Jr 625 and it’s at a good price on eBay and i think im getting a new intake from
the misfire could be from a plug wire arching to somthing else like the header flange or another wire. how many miles are on this motor? just asking because maybe your timing chain is needing to be replaced
