Interestingly, on a different Ford product I tried the Thermo Quiet pads and didn't like how noisy they were. I replaced them with the Duralast Gold brake pads from AutoZone and was happy with them. The Duralast Gold appears to be the same product in a different box as the other store brands. The part numbers and laser marking on the physical pads is the same from one store brand to the next from my experience.
