Heater problems
I can't get much heat out of my 2006 f-250 6.0. I just changed my heater core because I thought there may have been some restriction in it, but that still didn't help. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Do you have a gauge to read actual engine coolant temp (ECT) other than the idiot stick on the dash? My heater doesn't work nearly as well in the 170s compared to when it's up to temp at 190*f+, and t-stats are a common weakness on the 6.0L.

Gut reaction w/o data is the t-stat is failing. You should join us in the 6.0L engine forum, we have a couple threads going on thermostats right now, and can help you out with the engine in general.
