I'll add my welcome as well!
Think I can speak for the others that we would like to see what Steve did with the truck, and stories are part of the charm....

Welcome Col511 to FTE the best Ford truck forum on the World wide Web!

You need to show us some pictures. Steve's first post was in July 2003. Back the we had a gallery to look at pictures. FTE stopped providing that and all pictures were lost.

Steve was from London. Where are you from ? Do you know Steve? If you didn't but your truck from Steve how do you know it was his?

My name is Stephen Brennan, I live in London, England and have owned my 1954 F100 for about 3 years

My truck came from South Africa and is unusual in that it is right hand drive and fitted with a Flathead V8 (I think the USA stopped using them in 1953)

I am a year and a half into a full rebuild, I shall keep the truck mostly stock with the flattie but shall have servo brakes, 12v electrics etc and hopefully a 5 speed gearbox (transmission).

I have enjoyed the banter on this site and have learned a hell of a lot, I look forward to joining in in the future

P.S Anymore Brits lurking out there, I've seen plenty of nice Ford trucks at shows over here
Hello Steve , I live in the UK , Stoke on Trent . I have a 1951 Ford F1 pickup truck. I would recommend becoming a member of this website, it’s not expensive and you get a t shirt included. Members have been so helpful and supportive mailing unobtainable parts to me that I am eternally grateful for. Help and advice in abundance, a real community 👍

Why do the clutch and brake pedals seem so close to the seat?
