Same code pending as CEL

2011 f150 scab,5.0 auto 4x4
I have a cel for p0300,random misfire,and a pending p0300
I have never seen the same code listed pending and set.
Is this normal?

Hi vaper,

I'd recommend making an appointment at the dealership so they can get this diagnosed. What's the current mileage on your truck?

While there is something wrong with the truck, to have a pending DTC and a CMDTC (continuous memory) is quite common.

Go get your random misfire diagnosed : )
