Another Ac Problem - 2000 Xlt
I am a new member and have a 2000 XLT, 4cy, manual transmission. Since I bought it in March, the dashboard vents don't work in any mode. AC works but only comes out the defroster vent. It's also a little sluggish on acceleration.
I've gone through the postings and realize that this problem is not unusual. My guess is that I have a vacuum problem and need to trace lines to cracks or breaks.
Is there any "vacuum line for dummies" type diagram anywhere? I'm a Ford rookie but love a challenge.
Any guidance is greatly appreciated!
