Tailgate and Bed Protection
Hey guys,
I have a 1977 F250 Ranger - 2wd. The color is Blue and white.
The bed and tailgate have a few ripples and dings in them, and Id Love to get some bed caps and a tailgate protector for it to clean it up. Really want some decent metal ones, maybe even stainless or thick aluminum. Due to color I don't think black plastic would look good at all.
Any suggestions on were to get good ones?

Good luck finding some that are actually made for a 73-79 truck bed. Might have some luck getting some for an 80's Ford or a 96 Dodge to fit. I had a set off my dads 96 Dodge that fit rather well.
Maybe LMC has our year?

I got my diamond plate bed rail caps from Summit Racing. They were $90 a pair for Dee Zee brand. I used them on my '77 and '78 trucks. I thought they fit pretty well myself. They were specifically for a 73-79 Ford truck. I was going to get the tailgate cap too but never did before I sold the trucks
looks like LMC only has them for the short bed
