I removed the booster completely out of the truck with the brake rod/arm linkage still attached, but after half an hour of hammering on it with a punch I've only moved it about 1/8 of an inch out. Any suggestions before I take it to work and drill it out?
my had a carter pin in it which it looks like you took it out, spray the pin down with lube of your choice( dw-40,zep, PB blaster(my fav)) and then try to make it budge with a screw driver or a set of needle nose pillars.

Mine had the cotter pin too. I removed it. I'll try lube first, but I think I'm gonna have to drill it. I can't even hammer it back in at all.
I removed the bracket and all with the booster after unhooking the pushrod at brake pedal. Never seize on those 4 bolts makes reinstall easier.
I figure it'll be easier for you with it all in the shop instead of hanging on the truck's firewall. There's a pair of holes in that bracket that will line up with the pin when off the truck and let you use a deep socket from one side and a C-clamp or other press to push it out without damaging anything.
Mine was just remove cotter pin, slide pin out .... but I applied a drop of oil there when I lubed hood hinges and latch and other stuff at oil change times.
