scanguage 2 mat reading

I just got my scanguage 2 and entered all the points in. What is mat (manifold air temperature) supposed to read? Mine is showing -40. Is this right. I have installed a s&b intake only because factory one was gone and previous owner had just a open air filter on. this is on a 2005 ford excursion 6.0 Powerstroke

Just trying to figure out why it runs a little rough till warm and some hills it will feel like it misses. The ficm stays constant above 48.

I figured it out. I found a alternative code and it works good now

MAT (sensor in intake manifold, near fuel regulator) is a built-in "Standard Gauge".

IA2 (User-programmed XGauge) is the same thing, uses the same sensor.
