no dash lights or wipers
Hello, we bought our 01 Ex about 3 years ago. We notice the old owner had installed a small toggle switch on the dash that did nothing. My husband tried tracing the wires but under the dash is a tangled mess of wires. Some actually go somewhere and some have been disconnected but never removed. Anyway....we removed the toggle switch but ever since my dash lights and wipers wont work using the turn signal switch. We've taken the gauge panel out and check all the connects, they all work, as well as the light bulbs. We also put in a new GEM module and turn signal switch still no change. My husband has connected the wipers thru a direct line to the toggle switch so they are either slow, fast, or off. I wonder if the problem isn't in the wires that run from the turn signal switch down the steering column. Have any of you had this problem?
