Extremely serious Question

I drove my truck to work this morning. While driving, I started smelling a slight fuel smell. When I got to work and got out, I noticed it was quite strong. But, since it's dark when I get to work, I didn't get a chance to look into it.
Well, I finally got a chance to look into it. Noticed large puddle under the passenger side of the truck. I was thinking there is no fuel on the passenger side. Started the truck and almost immediately noticed liquid coming from the coolant reservoir. I guess the lucky thing for me is that there is no question that I have diesel in my coolant.
Over the last week or so, I have noticed that my truck smokes a little more after starting it up.
My question is this.........AM I SCREWED?
What could this be, cracked head?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Another question, would it be safe to drive back home? It's about a 45 minute drive.

I would not. But thats your deal. I worry too much but fuel is not coolant.

Very good point. Definitely don't want to do any more damage than I already have. I'm assuming that I need to completely flush the engine to get the fuel out of where it doesn't belong?
