bowed tires
hi, i have a 93 bronco, and i have always had the problem of the tires being bowed. they look like this/ \. it is really annoying, and my tires are wearing unusual. i have tried getting it aligned but it only helped for awhile. any advice would be helpful. thanks.

Ball joints, ball joints, ball joints. Not hard to change out. Can get the parts and probably loaner tools for removal and installation from your parts store. If you take it back for another alignment and they mechanic doesnt check your ball joints with you there to see if they are worn or not...Kick him in the shin and find another mechanic. There is no way to get a correct alignment with the ball joints worn to the point that your tires are leaning in like that. Now, if you get a reliable mechanic to verify the ball joints are fine, then go back to who did your alignment and kick them in the shin, then get a refund and go elsewhere. Good luck

Take it to Firestone for a lifetime alignment. 
$100, but it's money WELL-spent. If the tires wear out prematurely, it's their fault. If you think it's out of line, they redo it free. At any Firestone dealer across the country.
