Ive had this truck for 7 years, my grandpa gave it to me for my 16th birthday and he bought it brand new in 86. i started building it about a year ago so i figured id share some pictures

this is how it sits today, im waiting for ups to drop off my heims so i can build a new tie rod and drag link so i figured id pull it out and clean my garage.
I think you should weld ears front and back on your bracket so you can put bolts front and back up through the bottom of the frame. I think it would make it stronger and would copy the factory brackets better. Just a suggestion.
P.S. If you have somehow drilled up through the frame on the back were this picture doesn't show it, then ignore my suggestion.
there is 2 more bolts on that go through the bottom that you cant see, without them the brackets would flex to much and probably break. the reason i didnt go for the factory ones is because they were to wide, believe me i tried
