Been lurking around the forum for about a month now and bought my new project this last weekend. My last project (66 fairlane) was finished about a year ago but i wasn't happy with the c4 and trying to drive it daily so i'm in the process of installing a 4r70w and while i'm at it coilovers and all new bushings and tierods. Right now the truck is on the side of my shop while i put together some parts and finish the fairlane. Once i roll it into the shop i will start a build thread
Plan for the truck is
Aluminum 4.6 DOHC
4r70w
mustang II or Lexus sc400
explorer 8.8 on leaf springs or 4 link
Here's the Pristine beauty
Here's my Fairlane
I do all my own work from fab to bodywork/paint.... I did cheat on this one and had the rear window and headliner put in
Thanks guys. I'm anxious to get it in the shop and torn down but I know If i do, my car will not get touched and i'll have two unfinished project cars in my shop.

Hey. Welcome to FTE. Some of the scenery in your pictures look kinda familiar.
Maybe we are neighbors?? Your f1 looks like a nice starting point.
I'm in Riverton btw
