I have the old Quadzilla Commander, but the buttons are a POS and haven't worked right for me since day 1 (3? years ago since I got it). I had sent it in once for repair but they crapped out 1 week after receiving it so I just left it alone. Finally I got around to fixing it properly like the factory should have done from the start. I hope this helps someone with getting their buttons to work (if they haven't thrown it in the dump already).

Here goes:

I used 4 tactical switches which were SMD mount (Got them from the now defunct Radio Shack), along with hacking up an SMD board for the switches in stead of the common soldering to the actual board. Also ground down the inside front cover where the old buttons sat to be flush with the rest of that location (you will see in the photos).

Jumper wires I had lying around for Arduino hacking.

The Schmart Board was cut in half and then ground and drilled where needed to clear inside the case.
