Hello there. I was under my truck recently inspecting some wires running to/from the transmission when this little metal tag fell on the ground. I'm assuming it (was) mounted somewhere on the transmission? It appeared that is the area it fell down from. Anyway, I'd like to know what it is/what it means. My truck is a 95' f150 xlt 4x4 5.8/e4od. Just wondering if any of you have seen something like this before. It obviously says 'remanufactured', some seemingly random serial numbers and barcodes, and its on a white metal tag. Is this something from Ford? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks ~

I thought it could have been from Ford, thanks e4od_com.
Could you by any chance tell me exactly what it means/what was done?
Thanks again
Awesome, thank you for the info. So this work was done during production or sometime later down the road? I appreciate the information.
You very welcome !
Yes, these updates were done starting in production year 1995 and inlcuded in all Ford Factory rebuilt transmissions built between 1995 and 1997 which increased durability, longevity; and reliability. In 1998 they changed the Rebuild prefix to F8xx-xxxxxx
