well at least it wasn't 1/4 of a 1/4, kidding Bro, I have wondered the same thing , when the fuel light comes on I can still drive for like 40 miles , heart beating and tight grip to say the least I hate walking
Just messing with you. I had to read it twice and thought 1/8 would have been easier to type
Hahaha--true--I figured--I'm usually the entertainment. This being sick and the medication I've been taking has me all squirrelled up--it's kinda like you don't ever email or text for businees when your drunk type of thing )lol
On the rare occasions that I space out and let my fuel tank get so low that I hope the next fuel station is downhill, I can get about 31 gallons in with patience. The patience is required to counteract Ford's foamerizer design. I can usually trickle another 6gal in after the nozzle automatically clicks off.
I can usually get a bit extra myself. With about 8ft of extra of fuel filler pipe I considered that reserve lol,

hahaha , I tried that with my Chevy truck thinking well it does run on Fumes. dag gum thing stalled right in the middle of the Intersection with a load of lumber on the rack, I thought to my self ( self why didn't you stop at the am/pm and just add 10 bucks instead of trying to Push this HEAVY truck out the road) ARG
For as many Ford trucks as I've owned over the years....one thing I've learned is too never, ever trust the factory gauges. First mod I do on any purchase are aftermarket gauges or a monitor.

That would stink!!! Lowest I've gotten mine to ever has been 25 miles show till empty on the lie o meter. I probably could have gone a lot further -but wasn't going to push it. Heck that time I still only put 28 gallons in it-hince my head scratching.
