Hi, Im new here and somewhat of an amateur with repairing my truck.
Its a 65 f100 6cyl with 3 on tree.
I have replaced the shifting arms, if thats whatt they are called and now cant shift into 2nd and third, it seems like the tube is not engaging in the slot on the lower arm. the tube is in good condition. Ive been scatching my head for some time. Thanks for help.

Welcome to FTE
The two selector levers (shifting arms) are 7302 & 7303 in this pic. Are these what you replaced, or did you just replace their bushings?
I replaced the whole deal. I also replaced the rubber on the shift lever with one that was cone shaped, that was my problem. I ccut it a little and problem solved. Thanks anyway!
