Hello! New to this forum, my first actually. Just recently bought a 79 f150 custom and I am going to do a complete restoration on it. Had the idea to make a foxx hunt clone, have read the posts created here. Any additional information is appreciated. Thank you!

Turbine wheels, factory bed hooks, 76/77 grill inserts, KC Daylighters (probably) with blackened lenses in the grill, bed-mounted light bar, round Cibie Oscars, OscarPlus or Super Oscars, square Cibie Cesars, dual (?) spotlights, Type ? mirrors, rocker-mounted steps, a winch bumper and faceplate for the fairlead, and of course the graphics. That's all I can glean from that lone pic.

Welcome to FTE
Whatever you figure the total costs for the restoration will be, double the figure and then add 20% to it.
And this figure will likely still be too low, because most people grossly underestimate what it costs to restore vehicles.
Considering that you live in PA .. the "road cone" capital of the US and where they use salt on the roads, there's probably a lot more rust than what one sees in the pic.
Inspect: Radiator support and its R/L mounts, cab mounts, floor pan, cab corners, fender/bedside wheel lips, bottom of the doors, cross members, bed floor.
And btw: From what I can see, your truck isn't a Custom. Customs were "bare bones sales leader stripper" trucks, came without any side mouldings and most were not tu-toned.
Your truck has "Race Track" mouldings, which were standard equipment on 1977/79 Ranger XLT's & 1978/79 Lariats.
It's possible these mouldings and specific tu-tone paint scheme were dealer installed. To verify what model your truck is, post the BODY code stamped on the Warranty Plate.
